A Christmas Tea and a Bookin' It at the Carnegie Premier Event
Welcome to the Carnegie Library Christmas tea and Book Sale and invitation!
10:30 -12:00 Tea UPSTAIRS
What makes the day extra special special is the Author Meet and Greet Mixin' it UP with two Book Companies!
This will be a fun festive tea! There will be entertainment! I will be looking forward to seeing you Dec. 5th at the Carnegie in Ballinger! The tea starts at 10:30 upstairs!
I am hoping all the authors and booksellers join me at my two tables along with me and some of my special friends! There will be special mother daughter tables! Invite your mom, daughter, favorite aunt, or sisters and come on down to the Carnegie!
At 12:00 go downstairs to the Bookin' It at the Carnegie event!
- There are some wonderful authors coming! There are two children's authors. The rest are romance, paranormal, suspense, adventure, exciting stories that the authors are bringing! I am so excited!
- The two booksellers are children's book companies from birth to young adult! There will be Usborne Books, and Barefoot Books! I have seen these book companies at bookstores, and book festivals. This is something I wanted to bring to Ballinger!
This librarian has a dream! This librarian wants to truly make this a learning library!
I am still working on Nasa exhibits to come to Ballinger!
However, I do have another project! I want to increase the center aspect! Learning for children takes place with well planned activities! Balancing center time with independant working time, and reading and math instruction!
I have started that with the homeschool enrichment on Thursday at 10:30 at the library!
I will be posting ideas for parents to use with their children! I get many of my ideas from PINTEREST! I also get many ideas from Teacher's Blogs! Be on the lookout for a few of my favorite things!
My favorite thing ever is Gingerbread Houses! Click on the first teachers blog that you see here to go to her first grade centers!
